This Christmas variety show stars The Osmonds at the G Live on 9 December
THE Osmonds are starring in the Andy Williams Christmas Spectacular at the G Live for the very first time this December.
The award winning American television variety show ran from 1962 to 1971 and often featured regular performances from the Osmond Brothers.
Now, the show is coming all the way from the historic stage of Branson USA’s Andy Williams Moon River Theatre to London and Guildford.
Jimmy Osmond, Andy Williams Moon River Theatre Owner and Operator, said: “I am thrilled to bring Andy’s Christmas Spectacular to our friends in the UK. I first appeared on Andy William’s stage when I was only three years old.
"My brothers had been singing back-up on Andy’s biggest hits and had been regulars on his hit television series for several years – it’s such a joy to carry on Andy’s legacy and continue his treasured holiday tradition.”
The Osmonds are an American family music group with a long and varied history as star performers.
They started their musical careers as children and achieved further success as teen-music idols, going on to produce a hit television show and also perform as solo and group artists.
The brothers will perform their chart topping hits from more than five decades of entertaining. Songs such as “Love Me for a Reason”, “Crazy Horses”, “Down By The Lazy River” will be heard at this holiday extravaganza.
The show will also star special guests including Irish Comedian Jimmy Cricket and none other than The Moon River singers and dancers.
If you want to sing along to your favourite Christmas Classics “Silent Night” and “Last Christmas” with The Osmonds head on down to Guildford’s G Live on 9 December.
Tickets to the show start from £30 to £35.
